Witnesses said the men forced everyone down to the floor before grabbing the money and fleeing.

It happened at a Denny's restaurant along John Young Parkway around 2:30 a.m.

Authorities said one gunman entered the restaurant and went straight to the bathroom. Another masked man then entered and both demanded cash from a manager and a waiter.

Two customers were inside at the time of the robbery, and no one was injured during the incident.

The two customers said the waiter was shaken but decided to work through it to try to make up for some of his lost tips.
