NASA pushed back the launch date for space shuttle Atlantis on Tuesday.

The shuttle will lift off two days later than originally planned on Oct. 10.

The launch is slated for 12:33 a.m. EDT.

Right behind Atlantis will be space shuttle Endeavour, which will be moved into the Vehicle Assembly Building on Thursday.

As Atlantis heads to the Hubble Space Telescope, Endeavour will sit on a second launch pad on stand by in case a rescue mission is needed for the Atlantis crew.
