Pages from a diary belonging to an Israeli astronaut killed in the space shuttle Columbia disaster are on display in Jerusalem. The diary belonged to Ilan Ramon, one of seven crew members killed when Columbia disintegrated upon re-entering in 2003.The diary is drawing a lot of attention. The museum's director thinks it's a miracle to even have the new find.
"The diary that managed miraculously to float to Earth after the destruction of the space shuttle Challenger that held Ilan Ramon's notes and reflections that he took to the cosmic edges of our universe," said the director of the Israel Museum James Snyder.NASA searchers found 37 pages from Ramon's diary, wet and crumpled in a field just outside Palestine, Texas.
